Anthony Gordon is ready to leave Newcastle United this summer amid interest from Bayern Munich and Arsenal .

The England international emerged as a transfer target for the Gunners last year with a new left winger likely to be high upon Mikel Arteta ’s shopping list at the end of the current season.

Bayern Munich are also eager to bolster their attack and after the success of Harry Kane , Luis Diaz and Michael Olise, are now targeting another Premier League import.

While Gordon has not told the club he wants to leave, the former Everton star is keen to explore his options and find a new challenge this summer, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The 25-year-old hopes to resolve his future before England’s World Cup campaign begins in June.

The report states Gordon has not told the club he wishes to leave but the feeling within Newcastle is that a move is now on the cards with bids expected.

Reports in the German media have claimed Bayern will look to sign Gordon for a fee of around £60million. Newcastle signed Gordon from Everton for £45m three years ago with their asking price this summer likely to exceed £80m.

Liverpool were also interested in signing Gordon two years ago but it remains to be seen whether they rekindle that interest.

Gordon is a boyhood Liverpool fan and would jump at the chance to join the club who will need to revamp their attacking options this summer with Mohamed Salah leaving and Hugo Eikitike facing a long spell on the sidelines.

In addition to Gordon, Sandro Tonali is another Newcastle star who could seek a fresh challenge at the end of the season.
