Bayern Munich ‘to consider’ future Benjamin Šeško move
Bayern Munich have not ruled out a future move for Manchester United striker Benjamin Šeško. Harry Kane remains the undisputed first-choice and is expected to sign a new contract.
“The Slovenian is still on the list and he’s a player who is very interesting for FC Bayern.” He was speaking to CFBayern Insider.
Kane has increasingly dropped deeper to create as well as score, and there is a belief he could eventually play a more withdrawn role that lets a natural centre-forward lead the line. Bayern have added Ismael Saibari and are not expected to seek another striker in this window.
“Perhaps, if he’s struggling to make his mark in the Premier League, they could return to this idea.”
“The plan for the future, nonetheless, is to sign another striker who can be Harry Kane’s successor while also being capable of playing in a two-striker system. This is one of Vincent Kompany’s key ideas.”
Šeško, 23, scored 12 goals in all competitions for Manchester United last season in his debut Premier League campaign and has established himself as a dependable goalscorer under Michael Carrick.
