Bruno Fernandes wins Premier League Player of the Month for March

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been named Premier League Player of the Month for March after a superb run of two goals and four assists in just four appearances.
The Portuguese star equalled former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo ’s tally of six awards with this latest honour. He now sits just one short of the all-time record jointly held by Harry Kane , Sergio Aguero and Mohamed Salah .
Fernandes starred in United’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace with a goal and assist, added an assist in the loss to Newcastle , delivered two assists in the 3-1 victory against Aston Villa, and scored from the penalty spot in the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth.
His efforts took his Premier League assist tally this season to 16, breaking David Beckham ’s club record of 15 from 1999/00.
