Juventus in advanced talks to sign Man Utd’s Zirkzee

Juventus have stepped up their pursuit of Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee after talks over a move for Randal Kolo Muani stalled, with the Dutch forward now emerging as the Serie A club’s leading attacking target.
According to The Sun, Juventus are in advanced negotiations to sign Zirkzee on a season-long loan that would include a £30 million option to buy. The report adds that the Turin club have accelerated discussions after failing to reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for Kolo Muani.
Juventus had prioritised a deal for the France international, but negotiations with PSG have reportedly broken down over the transfer fee. The delay has prompted the Italian giants to turn their full attention to Zirkzee as Luciano Spalletti looks to strengthen his attacking options before the new season.

Zirkzee is understood to be open to the move, having previously enjoyed spells in Italy with Parma and Bologna. The report claims the 25-year-old believes Serie A is better suited to his style of play, while his representatives have responded positively to Juventus’s approach.
Manchester United are also prepared to sanction a temporary departure, with the proposed agreement allowing Juventus to make the move permanent for £30 million next summer. United signed Zirkzee for around £36.5 million in 2024 but are reportedly willing to accept a lower fee after the striker struggled to establish himself at Old Trafford.
,The Netherlands international found opportunities limited last season and is now facing increased competition in attack. Juventus, meanwhile, are keen to reinforce their forward line following Dušan Vlahović’s departure, with Kolo Muani no longer appearing a realistic option.
