Real Madrid star agrees new contract

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has reached an agreement with the club on the terms of a new long-term contract.

Youngster Arda is for his part in the midst of a stellar individual opening to the new campaign. Playing a central role in the setup of new manager José Mourinho, the Turk has proven himself a chance-creation machine over the term’s early weeks.

Any doubts regarding Arda’s fit in his new boss’ XI have in turn been quickly put to bed, ahead of what looks set to be another step up in production and prominence over the weeks and months ahead.

And as alluded to above, such exploits on the part of the 21-year-old have evidently not gone unappreciated on the part of those in the boardroom at the Santiago Bernabéu.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano, citing Spanish outlet Diario AS:

‘Arda Güler has agreed to sign new deal at Real Madrid! The agreement is done and set to be announced soon — understand it will be valid until June 2032, six years.’
